Despite no confirmed release date, Sanderson plans to start Mistborn Era 3 in 2025 and will write all three books before publishing.. Sanderson's current plan is to begin working on Mistborn Era 3 in early 2025, but he doesn't plan to release the trilogy until all three novels have been written. As of now, there's no definitive release date.

I think 3 years after Stormlight 5 is Brandon's time table. He said he will be writing all 3 Mistborn books at once and writing Elantris 2 and 3 at the same time. Mistborn Era 3 book 1 will release and then Elantris 2, Mistborn 2, Elantris 3 etc. So it will take a while for us to get the whole trilogy.
